Sony has announced two new latest headphones models i.e., ‘WH-CH720N over-ear and ‘WH-CH520 on-ear. Both headphones should be available in March 2023. The successors of the WH-CH710 and WH-CH510 contain new features, including adding a system that makes an audio sound slightly better.
Sony goes for pure with Latest Headphones
Both headphones feature the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) that improves sound quality. Certain elements and frequencies are lost when compressing music, but thanks to the DSEE, they are carefully rebuilt to get as close as possible to the original sound.
The integrated V1 processor must also ensure the sound is distorted as little as possible. Via the Equalizer in the Sony latest headphones Connect app, you can set your sound quality based on your music genre. Bit of metal, a bit of classic? Very possible on paper.
Less noise: that sounds great
Thanks to the processor, as mentioned earlier, and Dual Noise Sensor technology, Sony’s 720N over-ears are said to have nice noise canceling. A separate microphone in each of the earcups suppresses even more noise. You can enjoy a clear sound and a nice bass.
But the ears of the people you call also want something. The over-ear headphones, therefore, contain Precise Voice Pickup technology and a new Wind Reduction system that reduces background noise. Nice to go out on the street while calling, so it doesn’t matter.
Both Sony headphones have a Multipoint connection. The CH520 on-ear allows you to switch between two devices at the touch of a button. You can record if you receive a call on your phone but are listening on your laptop. You then automatically listen to the telephone conversation.
Latest Headphones Models WH-CH720N and WH-CH520
The WH-CH720N over-ear headphones are Sony’s lightest noise-canceling headphones, weighing just 192 grams. The ear cushions consist of synthetic leather and urethane so that they sit comfortably on your head. The battery lasts about 35 hours with noise canceling, but you can listen to music for 50 hours without it. The headphones have blue, black and white versions and cost about $158.
The WH-CH520 on-ear from Sony has also been given a nice light design, and of course, the positions of the ear cups are adjustable so that you can find the most comfortable position. This model also has a battery of 50 hours, is available in blue, black, white and beige and you will pay about 70 euros for it.
Not bad either: the packaging of these sony’s latest headphones does not contain any plastic, and what is in the devices has been recycled.
