World’s richest person Elon Musk and owner of X xAI has added image understanding feature to its Grok AI model. By using this feature paid X users may ask any question to Grok AI chatbots regarding any uploaded image. And Grok will answer to you about your image.
On Monday an employee of X posted on @grok handle “Eyes have been granted image understanding now available”

In another post, Elon Musk said that Grok Ai can even describe the meaning of a joke using the new image understanding feature. Further, he added that the functionality is in the initial stages signifying it will “Speedily Improve.”
In August of this year, Musk’s AI company released the Grok-2 model, an improved version of the Ai chatbot that included image generation abilities using the FLUX.1 model by Black Forest Labs. As with previous releases, Grok-2 was made available for developers or premium (paying) X users.
At that time, xAI said a future release would add multimodal understanding to Grok on X and to the model it offers via developer API.
Grok Ai may soon also recognize documents, per a Musk reply to a user who disparaged the model for not being able to grip certain file formats (such as PDFs). “Not for long,” Musk replied, claiming: “We are getting done in months what took everybody else years.”
The social media platform X has been trying to add extra features to both the AI chatbot and paid user levels on X to make the offering more striking. Before this month, X rolled out a new tool called Radar for Premium+ subscribers to perceive real-time trends and make available perceptions into conversations.
