Microsoft is making significant changes to its Windows 12 Insiders Preview program, which suggests that major news may be on the horizon. According to Microsoft’s official blog and Windows Central’s report, the tech giant will utilize its newly established Canary Channel to experiment with Windows OS builds that will set the groundwork for a new major operating system version.
The Canary Channel will frequently release unstable and experimental builds, which may be the foundation for the rumored Windows 12. This channel is intended for testing features that require a more extended trial period before public release, such as significant changes to the Windows kernel, new APIs, and other related items. It is significant to remember that only some tested features will be made available to the general audience.
